Angiogenic mimicry (VM) refers to endothelial-independent, functional vascular-like structures composed of aggressive tumor cells. In breast cancer, VM participates in the process of tumor blood supply, metastasis and drug resistance, which is related to the poor prognosis of patients. The author mainly discusses the role of vascular signal transduction pathway, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and HER-2, NHERF1, claudin and other key proteins in the formation of breast cancer VM, The purpose is to provide theoretical basis and direction for the optimization of clinical diagnosis and treatment strategies and the development of targeted drugs.
