2003年5月29日,深圳市教育局召开中考中招改革新闻发布会,宣布今年深圳中考,语文只考作文。6月21日上午九点半,深圳市中考首场语文准时开考,深圳三万中考生用一篇话题作文“留下”来汇报自己多年学习语文的实绩。对此,各界反响强烈。许多学生、家长纷纷打电话到本刊编辑部,咨询今后中考以至高考是不是都倾向于只考作文了。能不能单以一篇临场作文来衡量学生的语文综合素质和水准,如何保证评卷的公正性……成为人们普遍关注和讨论的焦点。为此,本刊记者特意走访了多位语文教育专家、考试研究专家、教育行政部门的领导,他们的意见和见解也许有利于促动大家的共同思考和探索。
