作者于1978年3、4月间对尼日利亚某地三所中学(二所城市中学,一所城镇中学)1,365名10～18岁的女生进行调查,询问她们出生日期,月经初潮,父亲职业。按父亲职业和经济地位把她们划分为二组:高层阶级和低层阶级。月经初潮年龄应用概率单位统计分析。女生在11岁之前无一名来月经,而到18岁时所有女生均已来月经。月经初潮平均年龄为13.54±0.07岁。
In March and April 1978, the author investigated 1,365 girls aged 10 to 18 in three high schools (two urban high schools and one urban high school) in a certain place in Nigeria and inquired about their date of birth, menarche and father’s occupation. According to their father’s occupation and economic status, they are divided into two groups: the upper class and the lower class. The age of menarche using probability units statistical analysis. Girls have no menstruation before the age of 11, and all girls have menstruation by the age of 18. The average age of menarche was 13.54 ± 0.07 years.
