瓦列里·库兹明生于1941年,19岁时进俱乐部冰球队。他参加过斯巴达克队,多次入选国家集训队,代表过苏联国家二队。在斯巴达克队期间,曾两次获得全苏冰球甲级队冠军。他还在芬兰队打过球。从事冰球教练工作以后,曾任苏联化工俱乐部队(全苏甲级队前10名的队)教练。去年,他毕业于苏联高级教练员学习班。1987年在捷克举行的世界大学生冰球锦标赛上任苏联大学生队教练。来华前任苏维埃之翼队教练。他的主要观点是:为适应世界冰球运动的发展趋势,在强化身体素质训练和充分发挥个人技、战术以及队员之间的默契配合的基础上,充分发挥快速、灵活多变的战术打法。1988年7月9日至9月4日,应国家体委和中国冰球协会的邀请,对国家冰球队进行指导训练。现将训练的主要内容介绍如下,供有关方面参考。
Valery Kuzmin was born in 1941 and joined the club ice hockey team at age 19.
