Democratic centralization is the organizational principle that the Kuomintang of China implemented after 1924. Judging from the origin and basic content of this principle, its essence is the democratic centralism that the Chinese Communist Party has consistently adhered to founded by the Russian working-class party. The reason why the Kuomintang has adopted this principle of organization is both an inevitable choice for it to sum up its own lesson in organizational construction; it is also the result of the influence and assistance of the Communist International and the Chinese Communists; more it is determined by the then special national conditions of China. The enlightenment to us from studying this issue is that democratic centralism is the organizational principle that suits the national conditions in China, but in practice we must focus on preventing over-centralization. In the current course of reform, we must emancipate our minds, break through imprisonment, boldly draw lessons from the civilized achievements mankind has created, avoid using political labels and use the generalized concept of class to bind ourselves
