美国邮政每年投递超过2000亿件邮件。如何在规定的时间内和节约成本的前提下运送这些邮件,是美国邮政面临的一个重要课题。为此,美国邮政实施了HCAP(公路运输网优化分析)项目,通过对全美邮政公路运输进行全面的分析,寻找节约成本的模型和方法。实施了HCAP项目后,美国邮政每年节约了超过百万美元的成本。本文对美国邮政HCAP项目实施内容进行介绍,为中国邮政网路优化提供借鉴和参考。
U.S. Post delivers more than 200 billion pieces of mail each year. How to deliver these emails within the stipulated time and cost savings is an important issue for the U.S. postal service. To this end, USPS implemented the HCAP (Road Transport Network Optimization Analysis) project to find cost-saving models and methods through a comprehensive analysis of nationwide postal road transport. With the implementation of the HCAP program, U.S. Post saves more than a million dollars a year. This article introduces the implementation content of the U.S. postal HCAP project and provides references for the optimization of China postal network.
