Objective To understand the long-term disease-free survival, development and endocrine status of children with acute leukemia. Methods The height, weight, bone age, endocrine hormones and secondary sexual characteristics of 30 children with acute leukemia who had long-term disease-free survival for more than 3 years were tested. Results The age and weight of all children were within the range of x ± 2SD in the same age group. The bone ages of children aged 9-16 years were generally larger than the actual age, on average more than the actual age of 5 months. In TSH, FT3 and FT4 In only one case of TSH (13.04mlU / L) increased slightly, the rest are within the normal range; FSH, LH, E2 and T results, 8-year-old children in pre-adolescent Low level, and no signs of secondary sexual development, 14 children aged 9 to 16 years old in pre-adolescent low level and adult level, and 9 cases showed different degrees of secondary sexual characteristics, and children over the age of 16 At normal adult level, secondary sexual characteristics develop well. Conclusions Acute leukemia itself and long-term chemotherapy have no significant effect on the growth and development and long-term endocrine function of children.
