本实验测量了中国国家男子手球队12名队员,年龄25.9±1.0岁,均为运动健将;中国国家青年男子手球队员15名,年龄17.1±0.4岁;两队样本合并为我国优秀男子手球运动员组,平均年龄21.04±0.99岁。测得身体形态指标32项,派生指标22项,将所有数据进行统计学处理。对照组为我国城市男生。结果显示:我国优秀男子手球运动员身体形态指标:(1)手部各长度指标均值明显大于同龄对照组。左、右手长均值分别为19.99和20.34厘米,最小值为18.5厘米。左、右手拇-小指指间距平均值分别为21.97和21.91厘米,最小值为2002厘米。(2)虎口水平角度和虎口垂直角度平均值分别为89.13°。(3)指间距均长于身高3.53~4.04厘米。(4)坐高指数较大,均值为59.22,为长躯干型(52以上为长躯干型)。(5)骨盆宽-身高指数和骨盆宽-肩宽指数平均值均小于骨龄对照组,分别为1513和6632,说明我国优秀男子手球运动员均属宽肩窄骨贸型。(6)达氏指数为22.97,为中间型。

(5) The mean pelvic width-height index and pelvis width-shoulder width index were all less than those of the control group, which were 1513 and 6632 respectively, which showed that all the elite male handball players in our country belonged to the wide-shouldered and narrow-bones trade.
