当前旅游行业的就业形势、学生对高职高专旅游管理专业的选择和认可,深刻的影响了高职高专学校旅游管理专业的发展。本文针对新形势,从人才培养目标和实践教学环节两个方面,提出了高职高专旅游管理专业定位要求。根据国家旅游局的统计资料显示,2012年全国旅游高等院校旅游相关专业在校生按专业来看,旅游管理专业在校生数为31.93万人,占在校生总数的55.41%,其中研究生4143人,占1.30%,本科生13.43万人,占42.06%,专科生18.08万人,占56.64%。由此可见,高职高专旅游管理专业学生总数已占据旅游高等教育总人数相当高的比例,高职高专的旅游管理专业的
