霍夫曼斯塔尔早期作品体现的颓废美学是以世纪末的现代性反思为重要背景的。这些作品中与自我相连的空间隐喻是其重要表征之一。本文通过重建这些空间形象在世纪末的思想关联,指出霍夫曼斯塔尔是在尼采和马赫为代表的现代自我的危机话语语境中来表达新的主体意识的。另一方面,本文也强调霍夫曼斯塔尔以自我的空无本质为出发点进行的美学创造展示出了新的存在思考和体验诗学。霍夫曼斯塔尔因而并没有陷入虚无主义而是提供了一种新的主体想象和文学理解。
The decadent aesthetics embodied by Hoffmansthal’s early works is based on the reflection of modernity at the end of the century. One of the most important representations of these works is their own metaphor of space. By reconstructing these spatial images at the end of the century, Huffmansthal points out the new subjective consciousness in the context of crisis discourse of modern self represented by Nietzsche and Mach. On the other hand, this article also emphasizes that Huffmansthal’s aesthetic creation based on the empty nature of the ego shows new existential thinking and experiential poetics. Thus, Hofmansthal did not fall into nihilism but offered a new kind of subjective imagination and literary understanding.
