《干旱区地理》汉文版(原名《新疆地理》)1978年随原中国科学院新疆地理研究所的恢复而创刊,最初5年为内部发行半年刊,1983年经中国科学院出版委和新疆维吾尔自治区新闻出版局批准改为季刊在国内公开发行。1985年更名为《干旱区地理》向国内外公开发行。近年来,《干旱区地理》汉文版的期刊编辑工作一贯坚持坚持正确的舆论导向;正确执行有关保密、版权、专利、国界等的规定;坚持致力于反映干旱区地理学的研究成果,促进国内外相关研究领域的学术交流的办刊方针,充分体现了期刊的特色。《干旱区地理》汉文版在国内已形成了相对稳定的读者群体和发行范围,已被《中国科学引文数据库》、《中国科技引文数据库》、《中文期刊数据库》、《农业科技文献库》、《国土资源数据库》、《中国科学技术期刊文摘(CSTA)数据库》(英文版)、《中国地理文摘(英文版)》(Chinese Geographical Abstracts)和《中国国土与自然资源文摘》等综合性、专业性数据库和文摘类期刊列为引文刊物或核心来源刊物。《干旱区地理》于1990年被《中国科学引文数据库》列为该数据库地学类核心期刊。《干旱区地理》汉文版已在2000年
The Chinese version of “Arid Land Geography” (formerly known as “Xinjiang Geography”) was first published in 1978 with the restoration of Xinjiang Institute of Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The first five years were the semi-annual issues of internal circulation. In 1983, the press of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Publications Board approved the quarterly public offering in the country. In 1985 changed its name to “arid geography” to domestic and foreign public offering. In recent years, the editorial work of the Chinese version of “Arid Land Geography” has consistently upheld the correct direction of public opinion; correctly implemented the provisions on confidentiality, copyright, patents and national boundaries; persisted in devoting efforts to reflecting the research achievements of arid area geography and promoting domestic Foreign academic exchanges in the field of academic guidelines, fully embodies the characteristics of journals. The Chinese version of “Arid Land Geography” has formed a relatively stable readership and distribution scope in China and has been widely used by China Science Citation Database, Chinese Science Citation Database, Chinese Periodical Database, Agricultural Science and Technology Literature Database, “Land and Resources Database”, “CSTA Database” (English version), “Chinese Geographical Abstracts” and “China’s Land and Natural Resources Digest” and other comprehensive, professional Sexual databases and abstracts are cited as citation sources or core sources. “Arid Land Geography” was listed in “China Science Citation Database” as the core geoscience journal of the database in 1990. “Arid geographical” Chinese version was in 2000
