通天岩,位于赣州城西北,距城约十二公里,赣南著名的风景地。该处岩上满布题刻,造象,是我省著名的艺术宝库。 通天岩题刻居我省名山胜景古刻之冠,全岩现存古刻共有九十七品,其中宋代的有三十三品,明代的有三十六品,其余的则为清代以后或无名的题刻。 通天岩又以我省最大的石龛造象群而著称。全岩共有石龛二百七十九座,石刻造象三百四十八尊。造象多属北宋时期雕刻的作品。
Tongtianyan, located in the northwest of Ganzhou City, about twelve kilometers from the city, Gannan famous scenic spot. The area covered with inscriptions, statues, is the province’s famous art treasure house. Tongtianyantian carved inscription in my province famous scenic spot, the whole rock existing ancient carved a total of ninety-seven products, of which thirty-three products in the Song Dynasty, thirty-six products in the Ming Dynasty, and the rest after the Qing Dynasty or Unknown title inscription. Tongtianyan also known as the largest group of stone shrines in our province. There are 279 rock carvings and 360 stone statues in the whole rock. Mostly carved images of the Northern Song Dynasty works.
