2006年8月14日,中央财经大学金融学院为来访的世界著名经济学家、联合国安南秘书长特别顾问兼“千年项目”(Mil-lenniumProject)主任、美国哥伦比亚大学地球学院院长杰弗瑞·萨克斯(JeffreySachs)教授举办了一个学术餐会。餐会由该院院长张礼卿教授主持,来自有关国家部委、科研机构和大专院校的专家、学者共计40余人应邀参加了这次活动。会上,Sachs教授以“趋同的时代”为题发表了精彩演讲,并回答了与会者的提问。
On August 14, 2006, the School of Finance of the Central University of Finance and Economics held talks with visiting world famous economists, special adviser to Secretary-General of the United Nations Annan and director of the “Millenium Project”, director of Earth Institute of Columbia University, Professor Jeffrey Sachs held an academic dinner. The banquet was presided over by Professor Zhang Liqing, Dean of the institute. More than 40 experts and scholars from relevant state ministries, scientific research institutes and tertiary institutions were invited to participate in the event. At the meeting, Prof. Sachs delivered a wonderful speech titled “The Era of Convergence” and answered participants’ questions.
