《四川文物》2014年第2期发表了北京大学考古文博学院倪润安先生的论文《从叱罗招男墓志看北魏道武帝早年入蜀事迹》,该文围绕墓志“其先氏胄,出自成都”一句,猜测墓主叱罗招男的从祖叱罗结为蜀地賨人,又因其有“元从”之勋,推断他与拓跋珪于蜀地结交,从而证明拓跋珪在代国灭亡后被前秦俘虏,并罪徙蜀地的传说。倪文通过逻辑搭桥的办法间接论证拓跋珪早年经历,中间缺少必要的证据环节,因此实难成立。通过对“成都”语词,代人军政集团的构造与价值取向及拓跋珪的文化素养的辨析,可以断定拓跋珪亡国后并未离开代北草原。《晋书》及南朝正史对拓跋早期史事的记载多属道听途说,不足凭信。
