清人编写《图绘宝鉴续纂》时,曾就董其昌(1555-1636)在画史上的意义作过这样一个判断:“元人画贵,乃其作始。”~1这一看法影响深远,后来几乎成为常识。而“元四家”的定型,又在南北宗理论框架的形成过程中发挥过重要作用,于是,董其昌引领元画热一说,更加强化了他在南北宗论形成上的意义。但常识亦可能是误识,它们往往有被重新审视的必要。
When the Qing people wrote the Illustrated Collection of Poetic Decisions, they made a judgment about the significance of Dong Qichang (1555-1636) in the history of painting: “The great artists draw your money and start with it.” Far-reaching views, and later almost become common sense. However, the stereotyping of the “Four Elements” also played an important role in the formation of the theoretical framework of the North and South religions. Therefore, Dong Qichang led the metaphysics of meta-painting and further strengthened his significance in the formation of the Northern and Southern theories. However, common sense may also be misunderstood, and they are often necessary for re-examination.
