对20例平均8岁4个月的骨性Ⅲ类上颌发育不足患者使用上颌前牵引矫正器治疗。平均治疗9.9月(包括保持3个月),治疗后观察平均10.15月,目的在于观察分析前方牵引矫治器的疗效及停止后的牙面形态变化,牵引使用的口外装置为自制Delaire或面具,口内为活动固位装置,口内外装置间挂弹性皮圈,牵引方向与(牙合)平面平行或钭向下20°,每侧350g力,每日连续戴10～12h,治疗前、结束及复查时各拍一张头颅定位片。治疗结果:面型明显改善、上颌骨明显前移、上前牙前倾、下颌骨下后向旋转。复查时除上磨牙伸长外其余与治疗后结果比较无统计学意义,疗效稳定,由于患者在复查时多未过生长高峰期,其远期效果需进一步观察。
