通过遥感、水文和水化学、综合物探、地质取样、钻探以及静力触探等多种调查手段与方法,首次在我国重点经济区——珠江三角洲的近岸开展了1∶10万比例尺海洋地质环境与地质灾害综合调查,对调查区水域的海水化学要素、环境质量、水动力、地形地貌、沉积物、浅地层结构、潜在地质灾害以及海底工程地质条件进行了综合分析与研究,对海洋地质环境进行了综合评价与预警,并对该区海洋开发和工程建设提出了建议。
