使用Horwitz的《语言学习观念调查问卷》对来自河北师范大学的104名未来英语教师进行了问卷调查。该调查的主要目的是了解他们的学习观念的总体倾向性。调查结果表明:未来英语教师普遍承认语言天赋,且对自己的语言天赋较乐观;三分之一以上低估了英语的难度,口语是其难题;大部分对学习本质有较正确的认识;对传统学习和交际策略都较偏爱;有较强的学习动机,但以工具性为主。调查最后为英语教学提出一些建议。
A questionnaire survey of 104 future English teachers from Hebei Normal University was conducted using Horwitz’s “Questionnaire on Language Learning”. The main purpose of this survey is to understand the overall tendencies of their learning concepts. The survey results show that future English teachers generally recognize language talents and are more optimistic about their language talents. Over one third underestimate the difficulty of English and spoken English is their problem. Most of them have a more correct understanding of the nature of learning. Learning and communication strategies are more preferred; have a strong motivation to learn, but mainly instrumental. The survey finally put forward some suggestions for English teaching.
