农村中小学现代远程教育试点项目的实施,为推动农村学校教育教学改革,促进农村党员干部教育,普及农村科学技术,建设社会主义和谐新农村做出了重要贡献。农村中小学教师队伍的建设和培养,是直接关系到农村中小学现代远程教育试点项目成功与否的关键所在。而目前我国农村中小学师资队伍建设还存在很多问题,从数量上、质量上仍不能适应教育改革和发展的需要。因此,探索一条适应农村中小学教师在职培养、培训的有效途径,已经成为迫在眉睫的重要任务。运用农村中小学现代远程教育手段培养农村中小学师资,可以实现现代远程教育与师范教育完美的结合。
