语文新课程标准对小学低年级学生的课外阅读提出了明确的目标和要求:低年级学生应“喜欢阅读,感受阅读的乐趣。课外阅读总量不少于5万字”。大量教育实验证明从小学低年级起培养学生良好的阅读习惯对发展学生的智力,培养良好情操,提高综合素质有积极的影响。16年的语文教学实践也让我深刻认识到学生良好的语文素养的形成与课内外大量的阅读是息息相关的。
The new Chinese language standard sets out the explicit goals and requirements for the extracurricular reading of the lower primary students: the junior students should “enjoy reading and have the pleasure of reading. The total amount of extra-curricular reading is not less than 50,000 words.” A large number of educational experiments show that cultivating students ’good reading habits from the lower grades of primary school has a positive impact on developing students’ intelligence, cultivating good sentiments and improving overall quality. 16 years of Chinese teaching practice also made me realize that the students’ good language literacy is closely related to the large amount of reading in and out of class.
