Objective: To investigate the effect of continuous nursing intervention on functional recovery, improvement of psychological status and quality of life in patients with breast cancer after operation. Methods: Sixty cases of breast cancer who underwent surgery from August 2011 to August 2014 were enrolled in the study. According to the digital meter method, 30 cases were randomly divided into control group and observation group. The two groups of patients were given routine nursing interventions during the hospitalization. The patients in the observation group were given continuous nursing intervention after operation. Two groups of patients were given psychological status scores, functional recovery evaluation and quality of life scores two months after discharge. Results: The SAS score (34.26 ± 8.57) and SDS score (31.57 ± 7.91) in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (49.37 ± 12.35) and (48.23 ± 12.06) after continuous nursing intervention. (P> 0.05). The SES score (28.96 ± 7.24) in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (17.58 ± 4.42), the difference was statistically significant (P> 0.05) Function recovery was significantly better than the control group; the quality of life in the observation group scores were significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P> 0.05). Conclusion: Continuous nursing intervention after breast cancer patients can significantly improve the patients’ bad mood and improve the function of the upper limbs of patients, which plays an important role in improving the quality of life of patients in the future.
