The contemporary Australian feminist Tim Winton’s consciousness of women has always been the focus of criticism. Most of the men in his works are weak and insensitive, sensitive and emotional, while females are tough, domineering and masculine, giving the illusion of supremacy of motherhood. This paper, from the perspective of feminism, takes “Cloud Street” and “Riders” as an example to deeply analyze the performance of women in the novel. The dissertation focuses on the self-identity of women, the sisterhood of women and the relationship between mother and daughter in the shadow of the narrative mode of Electra. It points out that although Wintour has subverted the temperament of both genders, Tendencies, but in essence, they are still a malefactor. Because women’s discourse in Winton’s novels has always been imbedded in the patriarchal discourse model, it has become an important medium for heightening the image of men and exploring the male self.
