Polyamines, cationic aliphatic amines, play an important regulatory role in cell growth, proliferation and differentiation, and are mainly involved in the synthesis and stability of DNA, RNA and proteins, as well as in cell membrane function, enzyme function, and metabolism of cyclic nucleoside phosphates Adjustment of the process. On the other hand, some enzymes in polyamine metabolism are low in content, short in half-life and easy to be induced, and thus may be regulated by many factors in the body such as hormones and humoral factors to maintain the polyamines at a certain level and maintain the polyamine components The normal ratio between cells to ensure that normal proliferation and differentiation. This article focuses on the synthesis of polyamines metabolism, mutual transformation and catabolism pathway and involved in these metabolic enzymes and some of the characteristics of these enzymes regulate these factors, and explore the polyamine metabolism in the basic research and clinical applications significance.
