Someone may find it strange to have children in the water. In fact, as early as the early 1960s, Soviet scientists proposed this proposition. Halkofsky, a psychologist, believes that the birth of a newborn in the water helps their perception and intellectual development. In the 70s, France’s Dr. Oden also advocate water delivery, to shorten the labor process and reduce maternal pain. Later, the U.S. obstetrician Rosettaulr did a “waterbirth center” in California. Sure enough, less than 10% of mothers giving birth in this center require sedation or painkillers. Thar said that water delivery is not only good for newborns; maternal warm water because they feel very comfortable, muscle and psychological are relaxed. This can shorten the labor process, mothers and fetuses can be a little less “sin ”.
