出生于八十年代的中国艺术家当中,孟柏伸是我深入了解的少数人之一。他以观念先导的创作方式,单纯的材料和形式特征,作品鲜明的个性和面貌,给我很深的印象。我有时在想,作为这一代艺术家的个案,他的成长历程和作品思路与我们出生于六十年代的艺术家有什么不同?是什么造就了这样的艺术面貌?在和他不断交流中,我从他的作品中可以大致梳理出中国改革开放后文化和社会的变迁,各个阶段的主题带着浓缩的文化记
Among the Chinese artists born in the 1980s, Meng Bai-chun was one of the few people I knew deeply about it.
