The number of red blood cells and Hb in infants and children vary with age. According to the WHO data, the lower limit of Hb is 110g / L for children aged 0.5-6 years and 120g / L for children aged 6-14 years Elevated 1000 meters, Hb increased 4%, below this value for anemia. <6-month-old babies due to physiological anemia and other factors, Hb value changes, there is no uniform standard. Our pediatric hematology group (1989) tentatively: Hb in the neonatal period <145g / L, 1 ~ 4 months <90g / L, 4 ~ 6 months <100g / L were anemia. Iron deficiency anemia is due to the body’s inadequate intake of iron, the need to increase or lose too much cause the body’s iron deficiency, resulting in reduced hemoglobin synthesis. The disease is the most common form of anemia in children, the incidence peak age of 0.5 to 2 years old.
