The Yugur people living in the middle of the Hexi Corridor and the northern foot of the Qilian Mountains in Gansu Province are the only ethnic groups in our country that have two native languages. Yugur language, one is the eastern Yurgu language, belonging to the Altaic language Mongolian family; the other is the western Yurgu language, belonging to the Altaic language Turkic language family.
