在英语教学过程中,如何提升学生的英语听、说、读、写、译以及阅读能力一直是英语教师在教学过程中不断探索和追求的目标。阅读是获取知识、得到信息的重要手段,也是一个比较复杂的心理活动过程,因此,如何提高学生的阅读能力,激发学生对阅读的兴趣,提升教师的英语阅读教学水平,提高大学英语阅读课堂的效率是至关重要的。为了提高学生的阅读能力、思维逻辑水平和教师的教学水平,教师和学生需要充分理解并掌握语境理论,不断提高语境意识。语境作为语言使用过程中的重要因素对大学英语阅读教学起着不可忽视的重要作用。本文简要阐述了语境理论的概念、语境理论的分类以及语境理论对大学英语阅读教学的作用,简述了语境理论对大学英语阅读教学的启示,以便能使学生在以后的英语学习中更好的学习大学英语以不断提高阅读水平,提升英语阅读的兴趣。
