对具有固定制动力分配比的汽车和汽车列车而言,合理地确定各轴间制动力分配比对提高汽车和汽车列车制动效能及制动稳定性具有重大意义。本文从分析汽车和汽车列车制动时的制动效能入手,以获得各轴制动力分配比的合理取值范围。双轴汽车制动效能的分析制动时,作用在双轴汽车上的减速力包括空气阻力、车轮滚动阻力、旋转质量惯性力产生的力矩及制动力等。在忽略前三者的前提下,制动时作用在前后轴上的动态轴负荷由公式(1)(2)确定:
