由于血吸虫生活史的各个环节没有一个能完全阻断,故防治血吸虫病应合理运用现有防治技术措施,加以合理组合,使之取得最佳防治效果,最佳社会和经济效益。在达到血吸虫病传播阻断地区,要加强疫情监测,以巩固效果。要加强应用科研,以加快控制血吸虫病流行的步伐。同时在业务管理上,要纳入法制轨道,建立血防工作任务责任制。政府有关部门对血防工作的责任也应纳入法制轨道,用法律条文规定其应尽的职责。
