话语标记语的研究主要分为“语义—语用”研究和“认知—语用”研究两大流派(冉永平,2000)。以关联理论为依据的“认知—语用”研究则着重解释话语标记语在交际中存在的认知心理依据。写作也是一种交际方式,是作者与读者之间的交际(Raimes,1983:1)。在中国,大学英语写作教学大纲一直在强调语篇连贯的重要性,然而,对很多学生而言,作文缺乏连贯始终是个无法解决的问题。许多非英语专业的学生在写作中不能准确使用话语标记语,结果直接导致文章不连贯。因此,本文在关联理论的框架下探讨了大学英语写作中话语标记语使用的错误。
Discourse markers are mainly divided into “semantic-pragmatic” and “cognitive-pragmatic” research two genres (Ran Yongping, 2000). Cognitive-pragmatic research based on relevance theory focuses on the cognitive psychology of discourse markers in communication. Writing is also a form of communication, the communication between the author and the reader (Raimes, 1983: 1). In China, the Syllabus for College English Writing has always emphasized the importance of coherence in discourse. However, for many students, the lack of coherence in writing is always an unsolvable problem. Many non-English majors can not accurately use discourse markers in writing, which leads directly to discourse inconsistency. Therefore, this paper explores the use of discourse markers in college English writing under the framework of relevance theory.
