This article discusses the synthesis of bisphenol-s epoxy resins in the presence of phase transfer catalysts. The reaction is based on bisphenol-s, epichlorohydrin as raw material, using ethanol as solvent, in the presence of base and phase transfer catalyst polyethylene glycol. The product was a white powder with an intrinsic viscosity of 4-10 (ml / g).
