殷紅的太阳每天早晨从东方升起,傍晚又在一片美丽的彩霞中落入西山,看样子似乎沒有什么变化,其实不然。天文学家用望远鏡和特殊的仪器观測太阳,发現太阳上面不但有时速达20万公里的强大風暴,而且也有噴射高达百万公里的赤紅火焰。另外还有威力超过氫彈百万倍的巨大爆炸。这一些极度复杂但又十分强烈的扰动現象。总的叫作太阳的活动。
The bright red sun rises from the east every morning, and in the evening it falls into the Western Hills in a beautiful pink cloud. It looks as though there has been no change. It is not. Astronomers use telescopes and special instruments to observe the sun.
