李鸿章是我国晚清洋务运动的主要领导人之一。以发展近代工业为内容的洋务运动,其直接目的是希冀以西方的“坚船利炮”来巩固清朝的统治,但在间接上发展了中国的资本主义,为中华的振兴奠定了一定的物质基础。该文以李鸿章在铁路建设上所作的贡献,试图分析李鸿章与清末民族资本主义的关系。中国铁路的建设和李鸿章有着紧密的联系,李鸿章是中国铁路的奠基者和实际组织者。李鸿章在对待民族资本的问题上基于一种客现现实的解决办法,为中国铁路的兴起找到了一条可行之路。
Li Hongzhang is one of the main leaders of the Westernization Movement in late Qing Dynasty. The direct purpose of the Westernization Movement, which is aimed at developing modern industry, is to consolidate the rule of the Qing Dynasty with the Western “fortifications.” However, it indirectly developed the capitalism in China and laid down a certain substance for the rejuvenation of China basis. This article takes Li Hongzhang’s contributions to railway construction as an attempt to analyze the relationship between Li Hongzhang and national capitalism in the late Qing Dynasty. The construction of the Chinese railway is closely linked with Li Hung-chang, the founder and actual organizer of the Chinese railway. Based on a realistic solution to the problem of handling national capitals, Li Hung-chang found a feasible route for the rise of the Chinese railway.
