开发了一种水平轮式连铸机,用以高速浇铸52~85mm小方坯。新铸机的结晶轮轴心与垂直线成3°~5°倾角。从中间包流出的钢水,通过密闭的水口进入结晶槽,避免了钢水被氧化,又省去了钢液面检测及控制装置。在直径3m的试验铸机上,以18~22m/min的速度浇出了50mm×63/67mm的小方坯,其表面及内部质量都令人满意。在此基础上,设计了用以浇铸70~85mm小方坯的水平轮式连铸机,其预期的最高出坯速度为28m/min,并能与高速线材轧机相配合,直接轧制成材。
A horizontal wheel caster was developed to cast 52 to 85 mm billet at high speed. The new casting machine’s crystal axis and the vertical axis into a 3 ° ~ 5 ° angle. The molten steel flowing out of the tundish enters the crystallization tank through a sealed nozzle to prevent the molten steel from being oxidized and eliminates the need for liquid level detection and control devices.
