In September 1982, I participated as a journalist in the Chinese Muslim Pilgrimage. As we come to the Mecca, a holy shrine, in Saudi Arabia, newspapers and radio stations reported that there was an endless stream of daily visits to the guest house where the Iranian Union (the largest Islamist international organization under its full name is the Islamic World Alliance) Overseas Chinese. Most of the Uighurs come from among them, including religious teachers, academics, agronomists and businessmen. When we saw us, they were as excited as they were when they saw their loved ones who had been together for a long time. Someone recite the famous Uygur big poem Ermilla Da Mulla: “The beautiful motherland where umbilical cord blood dripped ...” to express their love for the motherland. Among the overseas Chinese in Xinjiang, Xinjiang Uighurs make up the majority. When we talked with them, they were passionate about the landscapes and the vegetation in their hometowns and could not wait to ask for it all at once. Inside the group
