兰州石化公司8万吨/年MTBE装置,采用齐鲁石化研究院的催化精馏技术及工艺,由兰州石油化工工程公司设计,于2005年施工建设,2007年3月投产。MTBE装置主要是异丁烯与甲醇在催化剂作用下发生醚化反应。抽余碳四与甲醇混合后,经过三台醚化反应器,异丁烯转化率约为92%,再经12层催化剂和精馏塔板叠加组成的反应精馏塔,异丁烯与甲醇在催化剂床层和精馏塔板上经过多次反应精馏,使异丁烯总转化率达到99.8%,塔顶剩余碳四和甲醇的共沸物进入后序处理系统。
