“七五”以来,在邮电部和各级地方政府以及社会各界的大力支持下,我省的通信事业以前所未有的速度发展,通信面貌发生了质和量的深刻变化。电信网初步实现了由人工向自动的转变,并正在由模拟技术向数字化的高科技水平过渡。邮政通信也开始从传统的手工作业向机械化、自动化的方向转变。目前,全省所辖10个地市全部实现了市话程控化,94.3%的县市实现了市话自动化,市话交换机总容量中程控电话的比重占到83%,8地市10县开通了800兆移动电话,全省76.8%的地市县的电话进入国内长途自动网,通过自动电路疏通的长途电话比重
