基因表达方式的探测是研究特定组织特定状态在mRNA水平基因差异表达功能的最有效方法 ,而表达谱基因芯片由于具有高通量性、微型化和自动化的特性 ,以往常用的任何方法都难以与之相比 ,因而在感染性疾病和肿瘤基因表达研究中有着重要的作用。通过应用表达谱基因芯片对肝炎病毒 ,尤其是HBV、HCV感染致肝脏损害及肝细胞癌发生时培养细胞和肝组织基因差异表达的研究显示 ,表达谱芯片不仅为研究感染性疾病发生机制提供了强有力工具 ,也为疾病临床诊断和治疗提供更新的参考依据。
