中国远洋运输(集团)总公司加紧实施南北各有一个大坞的修船发展战略,继南通建成目前国内实力最强的修船基地之后,又着手在大连湾兴建一个中国北方最大的修船基地。该基地计划分两期工程建成3坞5泊位,预计总投资额为9亿元人民币。 由中远与中远香港集团合资组建的大连中远船务工程有限公司,具体负责基地建设。一期工程总投资6800万美元,要建成2坞4泊位,其中包括1个6万吨级干船坞和1个4万吨级浮船坞。整个一期工程将在1997年7月1 日完成。第二期工程规划再增加一个10万吨级干船坞、1个泊位及一批陆域设施。
China National Ocean Shipping (Group) Corporation stepped up its implementation of a large dock repair ship development strategy in both North and South. Following the completion of Nantong’s strongest shipbuilding base in China, it proceeded to build a largest ship repair base in northern China . The base is planned to be completed in two phases of three docks 5 berths, the estimated total investment of 900 million yuan. COSCO Shipyard Engineering Co., Ltd., a joint venture between COSCO and COSCO Hong Kong Group, is responsible for the construction of the base. The first phase of a total investment of 68 million US dollars to build 2 docks 4 berths, including a 60,000-ton dry dock and a 40,000-ton floating dock. The whole project will be completed on July 1, 1997. The second phase of the project plans to add another 100,000-ton dry dock, a berth and a number of land-based facilities.
