2002年是我们党和国家历史上具有重大意义的一年。扎实、认真地落实中央部署的反腐倡廉工作至关重要。2002年党风廉政建设和反腐败工作的总体要求是:高举邓小平理论伟大旗帜,坚持以江泽民同志“七一”重要讲话和“三个代表”重要思想为指导,深入学习贯彻党的十五届六中全会精神以及中央经济工作会议精神,加强反腐败三项工作,坚持标本兼治,注重制度创新,从源头上预防和解决腐败问题,狠抓工作落实,努力取得党风廉政建设和反腐败斗争新的实际成果。———摘自尉健行同志在中央纪委第七次全体会议上的工作报告
2002 is a year of great significance to the history of our party and our country. A solid and conscientious implementation of the anti-corruption campaign initiated by the Central Government is of paramount importance. The overall requirement of building a clean government and fighting corruption in 2002 is to hold high the great banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory, uphold Comrade Jiang Zemin’s important “1 July” speech and the important thinking of the ’Three Represents,’ and deepen the study and implementation of the 15th session of the Party.
