文章以陕西省咸阳市招商局与新加坡星桥腾飞集团招商引资推介材料为案例,对招商引资项目的英语现场口译工作展开研究,通过口译实践具体事例和相关理论分析了这类项目的特点,指出了招商引资现场口译所需要的技能和策略:熟练的双语和项目背景知识,得体的现场表达技巧,跨文化现象的处理,服务对象策略和译员现场处理问题的灵活性等。
This article takes the Xianyang Investment Promotion Bureau of Shaanxi Province and Singapore Ascendas Group as examples to introduce investment promotion in English field, and analyzes the characteristics of such projects through interpreting practice cases and related theories, pointing out The skills and tactics needed for on-site interpreting of investment attraction: proficient bilingual and project background knowledge, proper on-site expression skills, cross-cultural phenomena handling, client strategies and flexibility of translators on-site handling issues.
