This article intends to examine the significant modern early modern Europe from a media perspective and explore the coexistence of the media at that time and its role in the dissemination of “alien” knowledge, especially the emerging print media. The rise of typography in the 15th century contributed to the media conversion of the time. In this period of alternating and coexisting old and new media, the image of the new world was jointly constructed and disseminated by various media. Among them, the emerging status of the printing media became more and more important. Uniform and standardized print media often contain specific perspectives and positions in conveying the knowledge of the “new world” to the general public. This article will focus on the mechanism behind the formation of print media and the underlying reasons behind it .
