运用发育追踪法,统计和相关分析研究了叶枝发生发育规律。试验结果表明,在本试验条件下,只有主茎上第4节及其以上节位的叶芽才能发育成有效叶枝,且叶枝成铃数与其着生节位呈显著正相关关系。叶枝经打顶后,叶枝铃主要以伏桃为主。在1~4个叶枝范围内,叶枝数与全株成铃数呈显著间接正相关关系,当达到3个叶枝时,单株成铃数达到了本试验条件下增产显著所要求的铃数。但叶枝数超过一定限度后,全株成铃数会减少。随着果枝始节的提高,叶枝铃贡献率增加,第9节及其以上节位现蕾的棉株,其单株成铃数明显比低节位现蕾棉株多。
