蓖麻籽(Ricius communisl)含有丰富的油脂及蛋白质。以往曾因榨过油的蓖麻籽粕中含有毒性很高的蓖麻毒蛋白(Ricin),限制了它的饲用价值。近年已分离出蓖麻毒蛋白,经动物实验证明,对于实验动物肿癌的生长具有明显的抑制作用。而分离出蓖麻毒蛋白的蓖麻蛋白,在动物的喂饲中,尚未发现中毒性反应。这样,将为我国油料植物的蛋白资源,提供一条综合利用的途经。
Ricius communis is rich in fats and proteins. Ricin, a highly toxic source of castor meal that has been pressed on oil in the past, limits its feed value. In recent years, ricin protein has been isolated and proved by animal experiments that it has a significant inhibitory effect on the growth of tumor in experimental animals. However, ricin isolated from ricin has not been found to have a toxic reaction in animal feeding. In this way, it will provide a comprehensive utilization of the resources for our country’s oil plant protein resources.
