对纪念碑的断定,需综合其形式、内容(纪念碑性)以及所处的特定环境三方面要素来考虑。传统纪念碑主要有方尖碑与纪功柱式的纪念碑、雕塑与雕像式的纪念碑、门与亭或塔式的纪念碑;而现代的纪念碑形式多样,呈现水平横卧、水平俯伏与下沉式的空间向度形态。本文试图从纪念碑的断定出发,论述其空间向度形态与崇拜行为,进而通过个案分析传统与现代纪念碑的设计异同。
