Introduction The social existence of a library as a cultural service institution is a symbol of laborers’ desire for knowledge and longing for civilization. The historical changes of the library from court to civilians reflect the course of human civilization. Today, it is spread across every country in the world. It is known as a university without a gate, a treasure house of human spiritual wealth, and a place for self-study. It accumulates the human understanding of the world and its understanding since written records. It seems that the society should attach importance to and rely on it. However, the issue of the social status of libraries has long plagued library industry leaders, library scholars, library science educators and all library industry practitioners. In fact, the issue of the social status of libraries is not just about people’s perception of the library, not even the main one.
