On October 19, 1936, when Mr. Lu Xun died, Comrade Guo Moruo was living in Japan. On the night he was shocked by the bad news, he wrote a mournful essay: “The National Masterpiece.” ① He said he “lost his mind and floated in an unknown place.” Sorrowful voice, touching. In his eulogy, Guo Moruo refers to Gorky and Lu Xun as “two great stars of Hong Long.” Gorky also died on June 18 this year. Just four months later, the two major stars in the world literary world have fallen one after another. “The magnitude of this loss can not be measured.” “I feel the darkness around it seems to have added weight.”
