介绍了《植物生态学报》的发展历程和办刊实践。重点阐述了建立与学科发展方向相匹配的期刊导向,有效运作期刊的开放存取(Open Access,OA)。建立 OA 期刊的内容包括:①建立了全面反映本刊内容和历史的网站,②实现了《植物生态学报》从1955年创刊以来至今全文的免费下载浏览,③建立了作者、年代、关键词和卷期等多项检索功能。④构建和完善了作者投稿、修改稿件及编辑加工稿件的国际编辑规范体例和标准,⑤实现了《植物生态学报》的在线发表,网络版比印刷版提前两个月在线刊出,⑥完成了稿件的网络远程审稿和编辑体系,⑦建立了与同行期刊及国际国内同类专业机构的链接。努力扩大期刊的宣传和影响。
