Measurement of trace amounts of uranium in the air is an important aspect of surveillance and measurement of dose protection in open-air radioactive material manufacturing enterprises. Uranium content in the air is very low, less impurities, the general use of fluorescence analysis or spectrophotometric determination. In this paper, the fluorescence measurement of trace uranium in air conditions were discussed. Under ultraviolet excitation, the fluorescence intensity of uranium is not only proportional to the content of uranium, but also relates to the intensity of ultraviolet light source, the content of impurities and the preparation conditions of the sample.
